Naruto 399-the more “historical” details

In the beginning of Naruto 398, MADARA tell SASUKE the history of UCHIHA. Just from the beginning, we can see how complex it is. ITACHI is a victim of KONAHA: He killed his family in order to complete his mission. But who can tell me this task is for what? Apparently, ITACHI’s task is not so simple just like this! In addition, why MADARA tell SASUKE these events？Maybe he wants to hook in SASUKE for his own purposes, he wants SASUKE hate KONOHA and then SASUKE will stand on his own Side. Another possibility is: He wants SASUKE’s eyes. MADARA may have been use of the SHARINGAN frequently, so as , MADARA had to get ready in advance to prevent the weakening of the forces. SASUKE is the last descent of the UCHIHA, and he also defeated ITACHI, so he should be the best and the only choice for MADARA.

I’m sure the Kyuubi that attacked Konoha has something to do with it. Either it attacking Konoha was part of the reason for the order, or perhaps because some Uchiha knew what Konoha were going to do they decided to strike first. But this was around 5 years before the massacre happened, so who knows. I’m sure there’s a lot more to be found out in the next few chapters. It was nice to see some background story about the Uchiha and the Senju’s. Especially about Madara’s life. I like how when he explains that he killed his own friends and brother to grow stronger, Sasuke calls him a bastard. That Madara is so upfront about who he is makes me wonder all the more what he wants with Sasuke. I think it would have been better to outright lie about himself if he wanted to decieve him.Also,I really enjoy these “historical” details; and I am hoping Kishimoto will go into considerable depth. Wondering if this little arc is going to be Madara Gaiden.
